NEW in 2018! The August Classic Kick-Off Party & TRIA Challenge! NOT Mandatory! This event will host the participants of the August Classic and their families at King Field in Lakeville on July 31, 5 - 9:30 pm. Get there as early as you can as there are lots of kids to get through the competitions! Festivities will include: a skills competition for AC players, TRIA Mobile, appearance from Lakeville Police, their equipment & McGruff the Crime Dog, interactive games & activities for all, face painting, music, food for purchase & fun! All players and families are invited! This is a FREE event with no formal registration! Hope to see you there!

Notes: When paying online for the August Classic you can select YES or NO to participate in the event- we are using this to estimate numbers for the event only- if you change your mind, either way it is fine. There is no formal registration for this event and it is not mandatory for anyone...it's just for fun!

Skills will include: Home Run Derby, Fastest Base Running Time (Home-Third) and Golden Arm Accuracy Throw (outfield to home plate) Players will get a skills card to fill out with name, team and age level for recording their scores. The player will drop the card in the designated location following completion of the TRIA Challenge. Leader boards for each age and division will be posted on the website by Thursday, August 2nd. Winners will be notified via email.

What to wear and bring: Players can wear their team jersey or hat to show spirit, but full uniform is not recommended and if you wear cleats please have another pair of shoes to participate in activities on the Miracle League Field...NO CLEATS allowed! Please also remember your own bat if you want to do the Home Run Derby- Bats must follow MBL Rules for the 2018 Season

Additional parking: There will be overflow parking at Century Middle School located across the street from King Field. This is very walkable, but we will have limited transportation for those in need to reach the field.

Apparel: If you ordered any AC gear from the on-line store during the first ordering window - we will have it available for distribution at the event! We will keep you posted on the gear pick up details. There will also be very limited stock of the Trucker Hat and Tye-Dye Shirt available at the event, otherwise the second ordering window is open.  The hats and shirts will be $25 and we will only be accepting cash or checks.
