The Playoffs are Coming!
Brian MonahanThe 2026 MBL Playoffs are coming! Playoffs open the week of July 6. Quick notes below:
* Last day for regular season games: Mon, June 29. (You can play after this date, but those points will not count toward bracket formation.)
* Select YES or NO for playoffs on your team page by this Monday, June 22.
* Playoffs begin the week of July 6. Most teams play once that week; some play twice. High seeds host through the Semifinals. Playoff games are usually played on weekdays, to avoid conflict with MBT/ GSTC.
* Semifinals are the week of July 13; Championship games are July 21-23. (Most at predetermined sites.)
* Playoffs consist of single elimination brackets, with multiple tiers of brackets created for each age level. In some cases, seeding integrity is overridden by geography/ travel times.
* Brackets will be published Wed, July 1.
* All teams who select YES for playoffs will be placed into a playoff bracket.
* Depending on several factors, teams will usually face a team from outside of their region in the first round.
* It is not uncommon for teams to have un-played regular season games. As we get late in the season, sometimes teams simply can’t find a date to play. As a reminder, scores should only be entered for games that are actually played.
